On March 9th, 2018 The Rotary Club planted 100 Ponderosa and Douglas Fir Trees in what was know as the big Grass Valley sink hole.  As of November 13, 2019 at least 50 of those trees have survived and are thriving.  This is now part of the recently opened and paved Wolf Creek Trail. It is an easy and beautiful walking trail that connects to the North Star Power House.  Get out and enjoy the Rotary Trees.
